One dead after Basque car bombs

A third car bomb in 24 hours has exploded in northern Spain, killing one person and injuring another.
Basque separatist group Eta gave a telephone warning before the latest blast, near a military academy in the town of Santona in Cantabria region.
Earlier, three policemen were among 11 people injured in an explosion outside a police station in Ondarroa.
And another bomb exploded in the outskirts of the Basque regional capital Vitoria, but no one was hurt.
Eta also gave a telephone warning before the Vitoria blast.
Correspondents say the attacks come at a time of increased turbulence in Basque politics.
Spain’s supreme court recently declared two Basque nationalist parties illegal because of alleged links to Eta.
ETA is not a “basque separatist group”, it is a terrorist group. It is like calling Al Quaeda a “islamic group”, forgetting the terror they produce.
Please, be clear about how you define things.
Thank you

Sad hello from Santoña,Spain, i´m reading your blog at CNN news and have to say a pair of thigs:ETA is NOT a separate basque group, but a terrorist group just as al queda they are responsible of about 8 hundred deaths since their formation in late 60´s, even more they are listed as terrorist group by the U.S goverment and the EU parliamenet. Please call the things by it´s name,it´s not romantic “bandoleros or freedom fighters”, history ,but of murdering and kidnapping,so the term “terrorist band” it´s the rigth way.thanks for you time.Chus Delgado,PVT.
